These photos show the mining of the Legend from the Legacy I pocket. The pocket was about 6 feet beneath the surface and the pegmatite was exposed at the surface.

The Legend is essentially complete. The largest combination plate from Crystal Peak Mining District. Scott in the cavity removing additional specimens. Tim holds a recent find.
The Legacy I pocket opens about 4 feet high. Reaching the back of the pocket. The mud and clay are particularly bad.
Large crystals can be seen poking from the clay. A nice smoky with a goethite pseudomorph. Large smoky about 12 inches long. Tim and Scott couldn't be any happier.
